Update your Décor

Even though the weather seems to flip flop between hurricane force winds, gorgeous sunshine, and potential snowstorms, summer is just around the corner. Brightening up your home for summer can help overcome the cloudy days and keep you thinking of the warmer weather. It may be time to update your home décor to reflect the changing seasons and prepare for the summer months.

It doesn’t have to be big changes either. While some people may like to go all out with new furniture, painted walls and a total interior overhaul, it can be done with very simple changes. Cushion covers can be swapped for lighter pastel colours or vibrant greens, with the addition of seasonal plants and flowers that can brighten any space. A few new pictures hanging on the walls, either coastal, floral or sunset scenes that tie in with a summer colour pallet, can help brighten the space.
